Nanjing University is one of the earliest and top universities in China. The University has 41,600 enrollment including 9,964 Ph.D. and MS graduate students who are in its 17 schools with 50 departments. The University has an excellent experience in hosting domestic and international conferences in a variety of fields.
Nanjing is the capital of Jiangsu province which is among the most developed areas in China. There are more than 40 universities within the city of Nanjing. Nanjing had served as ancient metropolis of six dynasties with several thousand-year-long history; it is indeed one of the four major ancient capitals in China. Nanjing is located on downstream of the Yangzi River which forms the most active economic zone of China. The unique combination of modernity and ancient civilization makes Nanjing among the most attractive cities in China as well as in the world.
It takes about 2 hours driving from Shanghai to Nanjing. A reception site of this symposium will be established at Pu Dong International Airport in Shanghai to assist participants traveling to Nanjing. |
