2008有机合成与药物开发国际研讨会简介及参展邀请函


   

   由南京大学有机化学学科发起，南京大学 (Nanjing University), 美中药协（SAPA）(Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association)，江苏省药学会（Jiangsu Province Pharmaceutical Association）和南京高新区将于2008年10月14日至17日在南京共同主办“2008年国际有机合成与药物开发国际研讨会”。这是首次举办类似会议，参会正式代表人数约300名。会议意欲办成系列性的国际会议，尤其加强长三角地区（江苏，上海，浙江，安徽）高校化学学科之间的联系和合作。本次会议也得到了国家自然科学基金会，美国化学会出版社（特别是Org. Lett.编辑部），中国化学会的支持。
      

       在南京举办的这次会议将是一次高水平的国际会议。到2008年7月底为止，已经接受会议邀请作大会的报告的科学家包括： Amos B. Smith III教授(《Org. Lett. 》主编、美国宾夕法尼亚大学)，Philip S. Portoghese.教授(《J. Med. Chem.》主编, 美国明尼苏达大学)，Kevin Burgess教授 (得克萨斯农工大学)，Peter W. Schiller教授 (加拿大蒙特利尔临床研究所)，陆熈炎教授 (中国科学院院士上海有机化学研究所)；林国强教授 (中国科学院院士上海有机所)；Dr. Li Chen (Chief Scientific Officer, VP, Roche-China), Dr. Rene Imwinkelried (Vice President of Chemical and Physical Sciences, Schering-Plough, USA), Dr. Ralph P Volante (Vice President of Process Research, Merck), 以及一批活跃在国际有机合成和药物开发领域前沿的知名学者。
      

       本学术会议将讨论有机合成，以及药物设计、合成和构效关系的最新进展。有机合成方面强调有机方法学和全合成的目前研究状况和发展趋势。药物研究方面将围绕药物学的目标展开有关药物滥用的相关试剂，抗癌药物和抗艾滋病药物的设计合成和构效关系的现状和未来的发展。强调有机合成在药物开发中的应用。
      

       本次会议将提供一个交流的平台。有机合成化学家和药物合成化学家，中外高校和科研院所的科学家和大型药物公司的研发人员在一起共同探讨有机合成和药物设计、合成的现状和趋势。这个平台为科研界和工业界提供了良好的交流途径，为进一步的合作，和产生双赢的局面奠定良好的基础; 这个平台为药物公司提供寻找人才，建立人才筹备库的一个良好途径；这个平台同时也是帮助即将毕业的本科生和研究生了解目前的发展，寻找工作的良好机会。
