Accommodation

    It is anticipated that the great number of participants is beyond our expectation due to the collaboration of SAPA (the Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association), and Jiangsu Province Pharmaceutical Association. Therefore, we have to change the conference venue to Jiangsu Conference Center (Zhongshan Hotel) which is a four-star hotel outside campus.

    Since the new-chosen hotel serves as the Symposium Site, so we strongly suggest that you can lodge in this hotel. Another candidate hotel is Huangpu hotel (four-star standard also), which is about ~5 min walk to the Zhongshan Hotel, since Zhongshan Hotel can provide about 200 rooms for our symposium only.

    Jiangsu conference Center (Zhongshan Hotel) is designed according to four-star Standard which provides serves of conference, accommodation, food, beverage, business, GYM and recreation. It locates in the scenic area of east suburbs with the whole building area of 56,000 square meters.

    There are 30 meeting rooms that have a capacity of 20-800 peoples and 580 rooms. The facilities are luxurious and comfortable. There are Cake, ticket center, bowling billiards room, chess and card room, sauna center, KTV, shopping center, laundry and parking. The following is the main meeting hall for our symposium. (Huangpu Hall)

    The hotel features in four main aspects: Perfect conference facilities and service, Delicious food and beverage, Luxurious facilities and comfortable room services and Well-equipment gymnasium club. 

    The Hotel consist of a total 588 luxury guest rooms, including 435 four-star level rooms and 145 five-star level rooms. All rooms are luxuriously equipped for a relaxing experience in the utmost comfort.

    The symposium will make sure there are enough rooms reserved for all participants who are encouraged to register as early as possible with about above price. The zhongshan hotel can provide about 200 rooms for our symposium. If it is not enough for our attendees, we will arrange our attendees to live in Huangpu hotel, which is the similar price for the Standard Room.
Kind Attention
    The organizing committee of ISOSDD2008 had a contract with the Jiangsu Conference Center (Zhongshan Hotel ) for our symposium site. The Zhongshan hotel promise that the attendees of ISOSDD2008 can reserve the hotel in an discount prices shown in our symposium website if the organizing committee help to reserve the hotel for our attendees. At this stage, we can reserve hotels for attendees if they indicate what types of room based on rates they need. We are sure that every attendee can have a room based on your reservation information you gave us before September 10, 2008. After that we can not promise to reserve the room from Zhongshan hotel. I thank very much for your understanding.

    The accommodation can be paid either in cash or by credit card on arrival.

How to get to the Hotel
   ♦ Attendees who come by train or coach  

   The best way is to take a taxi directly to the hotel, which costs less that 25 yuan.

   Alternatively, you can take No.17 or No.36 bus to Ming Gugong(明故宫) stop. Then take a 5 minutes walk to the hotel.

   ♦ Attendees who come by plane

   1. If you arrive at Nanjing Lukou International Airport,

     Please first take the bus and transfer at Zhong-Hua-Men Metro Station (中华门站). The shuttle bus costs 25 RMB yuan/ person. Then you can take taxi directly (about 20 yuan) to the Hotel (江苏省会议中心（钟山宾馆）).. Please show the following map to the taxi driver. (Red Square)
   

   The Lukou International airport is about 41 Kilometers away from the zhongshan hotel and can be reached by taxi, which need less than 100 yuan (less 15 US dollar)

    2. If you arrive at Shanghai Pudong International Airport,

 (1) There are coaches available at the airport which can directly take you to Nanjing. Please pay attention that the ticket of the coach can be bought at Arrival Hall, gate 6 to 9, which costs 136 yuan (About 20 US dollars). Also, please be aware of the time: the coach starts at 10:20, 12:50, 14:50, 16:50, 19:20, Do NOT Miss !

The whole trip will spend 4 hours. After you arrive, please take a taxi to the hotel(江苏省会议中心（钟山宾馆）) with the shown of map to the driver. (Red Square). We will also have a reception site in the bus station .

     (2) If you want to take a train, it will be a little bit complicated. First you need to take the shuttle bus (Line Five), which can be seen at the gate of arrival hall, to Shanghai Railway Station. Then take a train to Nanjing Railway Station, which may spend 2 hours. At last, take a taxi to the hotel. We will have a reception site in the railway station also.

    Since we can not assure tickets of the train are always available. We STRONGLY suggest attendees follow the first choice.
